Turmeric also contains special medicinal value and is traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine for many conditions, such as asthma, rheumatologic conditions, pain, and fatigue. Today, it is also commonly used as a dietary supplement for inflammation, arthritis, stomach, skin, liver, and gallbladder problems, and cancer. Turmeric’s underground stems (rhizomes) are dried and made into capsules, tablets, teas, or extracts. Turmeric grows in southern Asia and Central America. We offer ground turmeric, sourced from the foothills of the Himalayas in Nepal.
